Naglee Park & Campus Community Association

The Campus Community Association, celebrating over 30 years as a non-profit public benefit corporation, was organized to promote neighborhood spirit and improve the quality of life in the downtown community through education, awareness, group projects, volunteerism and community care.

Since 1972, CCA and its volunteers have been dedicated to creating a safe, clean and friendly environment for all of the neighborhood residents to enjoy. Naglee Park leaders received the Mayor's State of City Award for outstanding volunteers of 1997.

CCA is a tax-exempt organization that is fully committed to improving the quality of life downtown. CCA's steering committee and members are all volunteers and consist of homeowners, renters, students and families residing in the San Jose State University campus community. CCA's committees address a wide range of issues affecting the area bound by South Fourth Street, East Santa Clara Street, Highway 280 and Coyote Creek, and the issues involving the City of San Jose and Santa Clara County.

CCA is actively involved in examining subjects such as parking and traffic control, graffiti abatement, land use and zoning regulations, code enforcement, beautification, group facilities regulations, commercial area development, community, education, entertainment, group programs, university relations and many other issues. CCA strives to create a neighborhood of which the residents are proud to be a part.
